KuKirin G2 / T3 / Ultra / Master on Compare are high-power cards (800–2000 W class in the snapshot) and are often not Sweden’s SE 20 km/h / 250 W-labelled commute class. EU / SE legality first (read twice)

There is no single EU e-scooter law. Countries and cities differ on speed caps, power, helmets, bike-lane use, insurance, and type approval. ecommute is not a lawyer.

KuKirin models in this guide carry 800 W–2000 W class motors in the Compare snapshot. That power band is often incompatible with markets that only allow a light 20 km/h / ~250 W SE-style vehicle. Do not assume a KuKirin G2 is street-legal for Stockholm commute the way a labelled SE scooter is.

Pure Advance / Advance Flex appear on Compare as SE-labelled, ~16 kg class contrasts from Pure Electric (AddRevenue) — useful when Sweden/20 km/h is your constraint. They are not KuKirin products; do not cart them as “KuKirin Lite.”

Verify before you buy: national transport guidance + your city + the merchant’s stated category for your shipping country. Peak watts on a banner are not a permit.

5. Weather — IP claims ≠ submarine; winter is harder on decks
6. Claimed vs real range — manufacturer km is a ceiling (real-world range method still applies)
7. Service / spares — pads, tyres, who touches firmware in your country

Power and dual motors come after those. A 2000 W deck you cannot legally ride (or cannot lift) is not a commute win.

Fit: Lowest KuKirin price in this set when your local rules allow this power class and you want a G2-family baseline. ~25 kg is already a serious hallway lift.

Watch-outs: Not an SE 20 km/h Sweden-class assumption. Still heavy for daily third-floor carries. Claimed ~55 km is a ceiling — cold and hills cut deep.

KuKirin T3 — off-road posture, city caution

Fit: Similar carry weight to G2 with a more off-road flavoured stance in the catalogue. If your “commute” includes rough paths and your law still allows the class, T3 is the posture pick — not because it ranks higher.

Watch-outs: Knobby / off-road bias can feel twitchy on smooth bike lanes. Same legality homework as G2. ~25.5 kg ≠ light multimodal.

KuKirin T3

KuKirin G2 Ultra — dual motor, skip the stair gym

Fit: More power and mass (~31 kg snapshot) when you have ground-level storage, legal room for the class, and you value dual-motor punch over carry.

Watch-outs: Not a light commute tool. Claimed range in the snapshot is not higher than G2 — you pay for power/mass, not automatic winter kilometres. Stairs/tram every day → wrong card.

KuKirin G2 Ultra

KuKirin G2 Master — top dual, heaviest

Fit: Highest dual-motor / claim combo in this KuKirin set when legality and parking allow a ~33 kg machine.

Watch-outs: Heaviest. Worst daily-stairs story. Peak watts do not rewrite local speed caps. If Compare shows Master next to a 16 kg SE scooter, those are different legal products — do not “average” them.

KuKirin G2 Master

SE-legal fork (Pure Advance — not KuKirin)

When Sweden / SE 20 km/h / ~250 W is the constraint, KuKirin high-power cards are usually the wrong aisle. On Compare, Pure Advance and Pure Advance Flex are the live SE-labelled, ~16.2 kg contrast — roughly 10 kg lighter than G2 in the snapshot.

Weight & multimodal honesty

KuKirin G2/T3 sit near 25 kg; Ultra/Master climb toward 31–33 kg. That is backpack-plus-toddler territory on stairs — not a laptop bag. Trams and under-desk storage punish mass every weekday.

G2 vs Ultra vs Master?

T3 vs G2 for city?
