Commute e-bikes, then the scooters

The catalogue mixes commute e-bikes with e-scooters. Filter to e-bikes when you want a saddle, panniers and the EU pedelec rules: 250 W continuous, pedal assist only, assistance up to 25 km/h. Folding e-bikes are the ones for stairs and trains. City e-bikes stay full size when you have a bike room. Both kinds of e-bikes show the shop price, claimed range and weight. A missing figure stays Not stated.

E-bikes on this page are examples, not a ranking. The ADO Air 20 Ultra is one of the folding e-bikes, with an auto-shifting belt, for hills and stop-start riding. The ENGWE Zip and the ENGWE P275 SE are lighter and heavier e-bikes for different storage. Open Compare to see every set of e-bikes next to the e-scooters, including e-bikes whose euro price is an approximate conversion from SEK.

Quick choice

SE legal class

An e-scooter matches when the listing states both ≤250 W nominal and ≤20 km/h. E-bikes match when the listing states an EPAC: ≤250 W continuous, assist only while pedalling, and an assist cut-off at or under 25 km/h. A missing figure stays under Other. A 250 W figure alone does not qualify, and we don’t guess pedal-only assist from the motor name. Verify locally. Open Compare with that filter, see the SE-legal scooter list, or read the Swedish summary.

FAQ

Who is ecommute for?

Everyday commuters in the EU and Sweden choosing e-bikes or an e-scooter for rain, hills, stairs, trains and local rules. We don’t sell the rides.

What does Compare do?

Compare lists rides side by side with the retailer’s price, claimed range, and weight. You can filter by type, budget, and SE legal class. Figures are what the maker or the shop states. If a figure is missing, the row says Not stated. It is not a ranking.

Are the “Check price at …” buttons ads?

Yes. Each “Check price at …” button is an affiliate link, marked Ad · affiliate link. You pay the retailer’s price. We may earn a commission if you buy. That does not change which rides are listed. See the disclosure.
